Blue Heron from Boston (USA) connects 15th century England to the continent in music, through the commercial and cultural hub of Antwerp, which was also Johannes Ockeghem’s temporary place of work. The programme includes his Missa Caput, based on a unique English Gregorian chant, along with songs and motets by English composers whose music found its way across the Channel, such as Walter Frye and Robert Morton.
