Safety & Hygiene

Before the beginning of each concert for which you have bought a ticket, you will receive a mail containing the latest practical arrangements.

Do I need to show a Covid Safe Ticket?

For public events, the federal government requires the use of the Covid Safe Ticket for indoor events with 200 people or more. However, the organiser may decide to ask for a CST even if the number of people is lower. A CST will have to be submitted for all AMUZ concerts, regardless of the number of people attending. Your Covid Safe Ticket (CST) will be checked at the entrance to AMUZ along with your identity card. Children under the age of 12 can enter AMUZ without a CST.

What are the conditions for a Covid Safe Ticket?

  • You have a vaccination certificate; you have been fully vaccinated for at least two weeks.
  • You have a recovery certificate dated within the last 6 months.
  • You have taken a PCR test and the result was negative: this is valid on the day of the test and for the next two days.
  • You have taken a rapid antigen test, administered by trained medical staff, and the result was negative: this is valid on the day of the test and on the following day.

AMUZ does not provide any tests.

How do I get a Covid Safe Ticket?

You can get your CST using the CovidSafeBE app, which you can download for free to you smartphone. Dutch visitors should download the CoronaCheck app. Non-Belgian visitors must be able to present a European Digital Green Certificate. If you don’t have a smartphone, you can request the QR codes online from Mijn Burgerprofiel using a computer. Then you can print them out. You can also ask for the QR codes to be sent to you by post by phoning 078 78 78 50 (in Flanders) or 02 214 19 19 (in Brussels).

I bought my tickets before Tuesday 26 October and I don’t have a Covid Safe Ticket. Can I still come?

You cannot enter AMUZ without a CST, even if you bought your tickets earlier. You can
exchange your tickets for a voucher, however. To do this, contact tickets@amuz.be or +32 3
202 46 69 on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

I have bought tickets for an event for which the auditorium was rented (a guest event at AMUZ). Do I need a Covid Safe Ticket for that as well?

You will find all the information about events run by other organisers here.

Do I need to wear a face mask?

Wearing a mouth mask is again compulsory during your entire visit to AMUZ, so also when you are in the concert hall. Only when you sit down in the foyer for a drink can you take it off. Children under 10 can enter AMUZ without a mask.

Is there an opportunity to disinfect our hands?

We provide hand gel at the entrance to the building, where you are requested to disinfect your hands.

Can I use the cloakroom?

The cloakroom cannot be used at present because we have a special plan for movement around the building based on a one-way system. Please take your coat, umbrella and so on with you into the auditorium. It is not possible to use the lockers either.

Can I use the toilets?

Yes, that is possible.

How much distance is there between audience members in the auditorium?

There are no more distance rules, we use the maximum room capacity.

Can I get a drink in the foyer before or after the concert?

Before and after the concerts, we would like to welcome you back to our foyer. To ensure that everything runs smoothly and safely, we recommend that you reserve a drink after the concert in advance via foyer@amuz.be. After all, seats in the foyer are still limited. You do not need to make a reservation for your foyer visit before the concert.

We kindly ask you to take the following measures into account:

  • After booking, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from us containing a link to submit your order and pay for it immediately.
  • You can also order on the spot, to avoid queues at the bar, preferably at your table. A sticker on your table will lead you to the menu via a QR code.  The order is then brought to your table.
  • You only have to register once and from then on you can always easily order online or via QR code.
  • You can only pay on the spot via bancontact or credit card, preferably contactless.
Consumption at the bar is not permitted, only at the table.

Is there ventilation?

AMUZ has continuous ventilation with 100% fresh air in all public areas.

May I attend the concert if I have a cold?

We would like to ask you not to come to the concert if you or anyone in your household has health complaints (a cough, cold, fever or shortness of breath).
