While staying in England, Haydn wrote a series of songs to English and Scottish texts that deserve to be performed far more often than they are today. The versatile Belgian soprano Lieselot De Wilde has performed at AMUZ before. “Lieselot De Wilde sings delightfully, with the right subtleties, lovely diction and measured expression.
