Lieselot De Wilde & Elise Simoens

London, Venice and Vienna with Haydn and Mozart

While staying in England, Haydn wrote a series of songs to English and Scottish texts that deserve to be performed far more often than they are today. What is striking is the richly developed keyboard part. The versatile Belgian soprano Lieselot De Wilde has performed at AMUZ before. “Lieselot De Wilde sings exquisitely, with the right subtleties, nice diction and measured expression. […] Genuinely outstanding!” was Klara’s praise for her role in Trois Visages d’Hécate. She will enter into dialogue with Elise Simoens’ elegant playing.
